This awesome project in collaboration with Lakshmi Lazanas allowed us to play with great corporate colours and create an inspiring yet functional workspace for a young dynamic team.

To give the production company an industrial edge we used a clever combination of plywood and black textured steel. The ply also assisted in keeping down costs, and allowed us to maximise individual spaces in the open plan area. The spine of cabinets running through the centre links the desks and allows a neat cable reticulation system to feed each work station to plug into power, land lines and the central data network.

We had fun using astroturf as a loose carpet and designed playful ply meeting tables. The ridiculously wonderful cushion fabric is from Jon Bergman’s collaboration with Kirkby.
